About me

Hello Everyone,

With more than 30 years of teaching experience, I began teaching on the college campus while studying music performance at San Francisco State University. After graduation, I started a private studio in South San Francisco as well as taught in the Parks and Recreation Departments of Daly City, South San Francisco, Millbrae and San Mateo. In early 2000s, I began also teaching at Bronstein Music School while maintaining my private studio. Presently, I teaching privately as well as online using Skype and Facetime.

As a professional musician, I have played violin and viola with the New Millennium Chamber Orchestra, Berkeley Symphony, Peninsula Symphony, San Francisco Concerto Orchestra and the Burlingame String Chamber Orchestra.

Past honors/awards included the Morrison String Quartet Scholarship, SFSU Concerto Competition Prize Winner, Salvatore Billeci Music Scholarship, Bank America Fine Arts Award and the San Francisco Teachers Association Sr. Division 1st Prize Winner, two consecutive years.

My hobbies include playing the tenor guitar, tenor ukulele, trumpet, flugelhorn, recorder and the panflute. I volunteer at our local church by playing violin and viola during the weekend services. My day also includes daily walks, tennis, and playing with my Yorkiepoo and French Bulldog.
